Thomas O’Brien’s 100th Birthday on eve of Peamount’s Centenary

Thomas O'Brien, from Kilteel, Co. Kildare celebrated his 100th birthday today in St. Ciaran's Older Person's Residential Unit. Thomas lived in Kilteel his entire life until he suffered a stroke in January last year which led him to be admitted to Naas General Hospital and later transferred to Peamount Healthcare. Comedy Night Fundraising Success

This Wednesday night saw the first fundraising event to raise money for Peamount Healthcare’s redevelopment programme to replace many of Peamount’s aging buildings with a new 100 bed unit. Judging by the feedback everyone enjoyed themselves thoroughly. Comedians Steve Cummins, Colum McDonnell and Jack Wise provided a great night’s entertainment with more than a few surprises thrown in. Manpower staff inject new life into Rehabilitation Service

Manpower, Ireland's leading employment experts also lead the way in staff volunteering. Forty of Manpower’s Staff volunteered to create two new garden experiences for patients in Peamount’s Age Related and Respiratory Rehabilitation units. Up to 50 patients can now enjoy these new garden patio areas thanks to the generosity and effort of Manpower’s staff. Read more →
